Tinley's G-Mama...which is what we call my mom...got her a YUMMY birthday cake! It was strawberry and gracious was it gooooood!!!
Tinley had her smash cake too to match....
I can't believe we are at her first birthday party letting her taste cake for the first time...this first year flew by...
At first she wasn't sure what to do...
But then she got the hang of it...and wanted to share with Mommy...
And then shared with Daddy....
Squeezed a little more with her fingers....
Then the fun began...
And the mess....
NOT kidding...she wanted to take a bite of it...hilarious...we found out pretty quick she has a sweet tooth like ME....LOL..
After clean up, visiting, and eating...it was open up gifts time....
She wasn't sure what all was going on...
In the invitiation I asked that people bring books for Tinley to read instead of cards...so we got TONS of great books...

Tinley already loves dolls. She got a new doll that every time someone says love the baby....she would put it to her face....too CUTE!

This picture cracks me up...probably catches the moments of gift opening perfectly. If you have ever opened gifts with a one year old and a room full of people watching....you are opening...saying thank you....trying to keep entertaining....next gift...trying to keep her in my lap for the next gift....saying more thanks yous...trying to watch her reaction....it is so much fun!
Tinley is always grabbing Chris or my cell phone...she really puts it to her ear and says...Hiiiiiiiiii! So for her birthday she got her own....
More books...and puzzles....
Whew....done...we are so blessed...no words can express it....
