Baby Update...

17 weeks...

Baby:
Everything I have read has said that this week the baby is really trying to add on the fat to it's body. And with the baby gaining some weight...I should be able to feel the baby. I have read the baby is the size and weighs about the size of a baked potato.

BUT...the other night I was taking a bath (to relief some of this lovely back pain)...I was reading a book...so I was really still...and I FELT IT!!!!! It was so exciting...so with the crazy arms and yelling...Chris thought I was drowning! Trying not to slip on the now wet water floor, I made him sit next to me waiting to see if the baby would move again. But of course Chris was saying that the baby is still to small to feel. But I promise...it HAD to be the baby I felt! If I had to describe it...it felt like my belly was a water bed (hints: in the bathtub)...and the baby thumped it from the inside. OR if there was a little fish inside my belly (again in water)...and it was trying to swim. So now every time I get real still...I am trying so hard to feel something! I am more in awe!

Me:

Still doing great! I am getting SO excited to know what the baby is. I CANNOT wait. I am online shopping already...but instead of purchasing things yet...I am just putting the things I like in my "favorites"! It is going to be so much FUN...to SHOP...here the next couple of weeks when we find out. I am seriously going to have be on a budget! LOL...no seriously! My cravings here lately have been...SWEETS...SWEETS...glass of milk...and SWEETS. Don't worry, I am making sure that is not all I eat...but I sure can put down some brownies and milk right now. I am still walking, though some days my lower back is talking to me saying, "Noooo, don't do it...don't walk...I am hurting...aching...don't do it." But knowing I need to...I find the way! The other day I waited until it was SO hot outside...even the doggies didn't want to walk with me. So I decided that since I still needed to walk...I would find somewhere nice and cool. What better place than...

Yep...sure did! I put my walking shoes on and walked Walmart! Though I came out of there with a hand full of things...it was a good...cool...walk!

A few more weeks...and we will ALL know what little baby R is...we will see! Did I mention...I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday River!

This past weekend River had his birthday party. He is such a big boy now, it's crazy! He turned 7 years old this past weekend...I remember holding that little boy like a football.

The theme at the party was Bakugan...thanks to my babies in my classroom, Aunt Sissy knew what those were...otherwise I would have been lost...

Ryder was doing so good...and of course had to have a picture with his Aunt Sissy...he cracks me up, "Sissy...I want to have a picture wif you"...That little voice...I love it....Finally it was time for some cupcakes...we sang..And got to dig in...yummy...again with my sweet tooth right now...I was right in the middle of "passing/stealing" those cupcakes...Ryder is becoming such the prankster...We watched while the birthday boy opened his gifts...

I can't believe he is 7!!! Next year Lee and I are going to have two little ones to be keeping up with...

I love these two...

These two are so special to me...my Daddy and my Pops! Pops is my Dad's best friend...and my second Daddy! This picture cracks me up...it is SO their personalities! Dad with a smile and a lip full of his NASTY worm dirt (dip)! And Pops being so goofy...you can never be in a bad mood around Pops...he is always there to make you laugh! Seriously...look at that smile...and try not to laugh. You can't do it!

I love these two so much...!!!

Full B-O-Y!!!!

Chris grew up with a brother...there were ALL boys in their house! For me, I didn't...so when Chris gets around my brother or my little nephews...he goes back to how him and his brother bonded! By wrestling! Chris cracks me up...he would ruff house with people his own age, if his friends would let him! He is full BOY...and makes it his goal to make all the younger boys in his life "tuff"!

Mom and Dad watched River and Ryder the other night...and of course Big Tuff Man Chris could not wait to ruff house with the boys...

River is getting really good actually...here he is trying to pin Chris...after just throwing Ryder...hilarious...

Finally!!!

I was finally in the "clear" to get to have my hair done! I was sooooo DUE for some color and a trim!

It was bad!

BEFORE...After...new bangs...color cleaned up...and a trim with healthy ends...WHEW...I feel SO MUCH BETTER!

Yummy Yummy for my Tummy...

For Kam's birthday...we had ANOTHER celebration! I know your not surprised...because it's my family! And in my family you don't have just a birthDAY, you have a birthday WEEKEND! We all went to a yummy Mexican food restaurant to get stuffed...and celebrate our CoCo!!!

The whole family was there...us,Mom, Dad, Trey, CoCo, Daniel, Annie, Kepi, Mama T, Pops, and Wes...it was so fun! I love this picture of Annie...just catches her perfectly...loving the time with her family!

To start, there was a YUMMY dip...it was soooo good...

While we were waiting for our food...we were doing what we always do when we get together as a family...LAUGH! This time Wes was the one cracking us up...look at this face...how can you not just love it???...

Then, Trey cracked us up...he ordered a plate that was SO good...but he thought was too spicy. He seriously took 3 bites of it. Now tell me how this makes sense...he said, "It's just to spicy I can't eat it, but it taste so good."

He was being so weird...LOL...

While we waited for dessert...Kam opened her gifts...

FINALLY...dessert was here...OMG...now this was so YUMMY! My mouth is just watering thinking about it!!!...

Long...but fun Night...

For Kam's birthday celebration we all decided to go to a Ranger's game. We were all so excited to get to the game...the only thing is it started to rain!

We got there and saw this...the game was supposed to start at 7...Finally they decided that the game could go on...and the game started 2 and a half hours late...They took the field at 9:35...We had great seats...we sat in right field...And right next to bull pen...Once we all got comfortable...Dad and Chris got their peanuts. Which if you have known me longer than a week, you know that I am deathly allergic to all kinds of nuts!! I can usually smell peanuts a mile away...and with little baby R...the smell was so STRONG!! Chris was cracking me up...he was loving the peanuts...he had it ALL over the front of his shirt! It was picture time...Trey and the birthday girl...Trey, CoCo, and her man Daniel...My sweet and wonderful parents...It didn't take very long for my daddy to turn in to Coach TC...here is that "look"...several people have heard of it...only a few of us have seen it coming from the 3rd base line!With the rain...it kept everything pretty cool...just a fun night with my world...my family! I just love this picture of my little sister! She looks so cute...goodness I love this girl! My little pest of a brother...loves to throw crickets on me...which again if you have known me longer than a week, you know I absolutely HATE crickets! Especially ones that fly on you!! So Trey thought it would be funny to put one on me...and of course Mama cracks up too.
