Ready...Set...WAIT!

This past weekend Chris and I got some BIG stuff for our Little Lady! We are getting SO excited and SO ready for her to be here!!! Can you believe after Thanksgiving we have 2 more weeks!!!!!! OMG!!!! It is getting so close!!!
One thing we got was our monitor...Chris was cracking me up...he thought it was so cool that you can talk to the baby...as if it were a walkie talkie. I would be in the kitchen and I would hear, "I can seeeee you!" LOL...so silly! We also got our Pack N' Play...we have a two story house...so I wanted to make sure we FOR SURE had this ASAP! Because this will be her little bed for a while! :) Our pattern is a little different from the picture...but you get the idea. OH...and again Chris was so excited to finally be setting this up...I think he moved it to 3 different corners of our bedroom before deciding which one was best....so sweet! This is our swing! I was a nanny a few summers ago...and that baby LOVED his swing! So hopefully our little lady will too! When Chris was done setting up the swing...I walk into the room and he has the "nature sounds" playing on high...I was confused...thinking maybe he was just making sure everything works. But after about 5 minutes of hearing birds and ocean waves...I asked him why is that still on. His response was, "Oh, just getting used to having that as back ground noise." Made me laugh out loud...he is SO excited...!!! We have ONE more....BIG...and IMPORTANT thing to get...our travel system! My parents and Kepi are planning on getting this...so after we have this in the house...and set up by my handy man....we are READY! ....Well I still have a few more things on my "to-do" list before we are FOR SURE READY to go:
- Organize the nursery closet
- Curtains for the nursery
- Get hospital PJ's
- Organize under our sink
- Pack a hospital bag
- Practice with the dogs and a baby doll
That's it...the list seems small to me! And good thing I have OFF all next week for Thanksgiving Break to get these things DONE! My goal is to be completely done and ready on December 1st!
I can so do that... :)

Classroom Catch Up....

I had to share some of my favorite days that I have had with my babies...

One of my most favorite...we were talking about Main Idea and details in a story...so I was doing a graphic organizer to show them all the small details support the BIG main idea of a story. Well first I used myself...they told me details about myself...check out the small details...I LOVE the detail..."You have a baby in your TUMMY!" Not really a "small" detail...but I love it!
I tell my babies...we are a family ALL THE TIME! Well this week we studied families and did a graph of how many people are in their "real" family! I love the pictures...I LOVE THEIR DRAWINGS...so cute!
We had a police officer come and show his dog during Public Officials week! The babies LOVED this...they were so excited about the dog!
In science we talked about plants...roots...and soil. We did the Lima bean activity with the paper towels. I remember doing this when I was in school. I loved it! It was so much fun....
The boys cracked me....they make EVERYTHING a competition... to see whose bean would show roots first! Then it was whose roots were the longest...LOL! Boys will be boys...even in 1st grade!
My babies make me smile everyday. Someone says something that makes me laugh out loud.
I love these babies so much!

They Love To Ride...

I told Mr. Chris...Mama is going need a bigger SUV....and SOON! LOL!
They crack me up...they love it...we had them around groups of people, kids, riding in the car when they both were very tiny! So now they love it!
I can just see a little lady in there with them...and of course with a big bow on her head!!!!

TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! :):):):)

Meant to tell ya....

This was SEVERAL weeks back into the pregnancy....but I wanted to share...

About the time I hit...I would say...5 months....EVERYONE was like, "Tiff get ready for the "gross" drink!" Seriously, people told me they almost threw up while they drank it, it is horrible, it is SOOOOO BAD...be sure you are close to a bathroom...Blah Blah! So of course...being me and listening to everyone's horror stories...I was so worried about this drink!

Well, the bad...gross...drink that I heard about....IS NOT SUCH A HORRIBLE THING....it wasn't that bad AT ALL! Now, is it a drink that I would like to sit down and sip everyday...NO...but it is not as bad as everyone made it out to be! If you like orange drinks...you can SO get this down...without all the drama of throwing up, thinking you have to, wanting to make yourself! I am glad it's over...and glad it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be....LOL!

BY THE WAY....the count down starts today...MY BIRTHDAY IS WEDNESDAY!!!!!!

Butterflies...

SO.....

I had to be talked into it....but I had maternity pictures done this past weekend! I am really nervous about what they are going to look like...due to our little love growing up a storm now! I have butterflies to look at them! I know Jill is going to do great, just like she did with the pictures of us and our doggies...but it still makes me nervous!!!

Here is outfit #1 I wore...cute top, jeans, and cowgirl boots! This is SUCH a "me" outfit....leggings...my favorite zebra flats...and cute top. I didn't have my jewelry on yet...but I had more chunky silver bling on... This was my fun outfit...Chris was not a good photographer on this day...so hopefully I look better in the real pictures with this outfit on than I do here.... OH MY GRACIOUS....butterflies....I want to see what they look like...

Getting Ready...

Well the paint for the nursery is D-O-N-E....DONE! YAY! We all worked so hard on it...and it feels so good to have it done and checked off the "to-do" list!
We planned that the whole weekend we would painting so that Friday night my Mom, Dad, my Sister, and Brother all came over to help Chris and I all get started!
While we all got busy this was Dad....just a little distracted!
Finally after all the taping....we were ready...Kam put the first green on the walls...I was so nervous!
The pups wanted to help too....
Chris working hard....AND so ready to get this done and out of the way...
Mama starting the frame...getting it ready for the FUN part!....
After day one was done....Chris and I told some friends we would feed them if they came over to help us finish up the room. Of course with the promise of free food....they came! So Saturday night, we started the fun...but hardest part!
I brought my overhead home, because we made a frame of zebra around the main wall...
We had to do a little at a time, but with friends there while you work...it went by pretty quickly! Lauren, Kendall, and I worked so hard...while the boys waited on us and got us things as we worked...
Traced....painted....moved the pattern....traced....painted....moved again....
With the help of our sweet family and awesome friends...that by the way...hopefully will be doing the same for them soon....we got it DONE!
Now all we are waiting on is her big monogram to put over the crib!
Did I mention....we are SO glad this is DONE!!!!
