I am LOVING all my time with Tinley Kay! I can't get enough of her...does this EVER get better. I hear it gets worse...wanting more and more time with the babies?....

The Village Church rocks. If you have never heard Matt Chandler speak...you need to! Talk about IN YOUR FACE! Man...I think...isn't it good to get uncomfortable when you listen to teaching? For Chris and I...it challenges us...changes us...makes us have good, deep conversation together...which in my experiences then challenges and changes our marriage...cause if your not getting challenged from your spouse...who are you getting from?...And shouldn't it be from them to begin with? I wonder how it would be if Matt Chandler came and spoke in person at my church...?

So you know what that means...PLANNING! Which you know what...if I wasn't a teacher...think I would be a events coordinator or a wedding planner! So this is right up my alley. One thing I am noticing with all the pictures...blogs...photography websites are TWO things, which I love! One, all the bridesmaid dresses are ALL different. I love this...you can really get a feel of what their personality is by just looking at their dresses. Two, vintage weddings are IN! Which I think is so cool...and fun! I love this shot I found...love the dresses!

In my experiences...I have had to learn this. Why is that with people? Learning from my experiences I have had to keep expectations to reality...

Last year...to this year...

This time last year Chris and I were a few months pregnant and...

Just coming home from our Babymoon...the cruise!

Such a great time...just him and I...!

This was our favorite day...we were about to swim with sting rays...

I was hanging out at the pool with River and Ryder...I love these boys...

Lee and I were talking about what we were craving...what we thought the babies would be...I remember her saying to me, "can you believe this time next year we will have 6 month olds that will be splashing in the water?!"

I just started wearing my belly bands...the rubber bands started getting way to uncomfortable! LOL! PS...thank you Belly Band inventor...you are my hero!!! I could not stop thinking about if the baby was a boy or girl. I remember people told me to be sure I remember my dreams. So every time I had a dream...not including crazy pregnancy dreams about my hair being cut off...snakes chasing me...or me going shopping with paparazzi following me...I was trying so hard to remember if the baby with there...if I had a name for him or her yet...it was always on my mind... NOW....

6 MONTH OLD!

I can't believe that she already 6 months old...this is crazy. It is getting natural or normal to think about Chris and I have a daughter. It is crazy to think about how far we have come...the things we have learned together...and how the Lord has blessed us with a daughter. Still makes me so in awe of Him. Here are some highlights going on with our girl Tinley Kay Ann...

- She is now "talking"...not really...she always says...Da...Ga...Ma...Da...and my favorite, I LOVE when she says Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :)

- Takes to consistent naps during the day

- Is sitting up all my herself

- Loves to roll off the her blanket

- Sitting in a highchair

- She could probably turn into a sweet potato or a carrot...her favorite fruits are apples and pears

- Now goes to the church nursery...which this was a big step for her mommy. Someone watching her that I DO NOT know...scary...even if it is a church...anyway...I know...I'm a crazy first time mommy.

- Can hold her own bottle! YAY...Daddy is really happy about his one... :)

- Is teething like crazy...no teeth of cut through yet...but you can feel two little "knots" on the bottom

- Loves to play with her foam letters in the bathtub. Me...being a teacher...have made up a song to go with the letters. Tinley will pick a letter...let's say K...we sing..."This is a K...a K...a K...a K...K is for KITE!" I know corny...but hey...she loves it!

- We practice our sign language...I haven't seen her do any yet...but man I will totally be excited when I do, because we have worked on these for a while now. We use Mommy, Daddy, more, milk, paci, I Love You.

- Tinley is now so interested in Callie Rae and Teague. Which is so sweet to us...and the dogs are doing great with her. More to come about this... :)

- She still loves her Daddy to sing to her...loves music...and right now loves to watch So You Think You Can Dance with her Mommy.

- The ladies at the church have said she is starting to get separation anxiety...?!?!?...They say EVERY TIME...she is fine for the first 45 minutes...but when she realizes her Mommy or Daddy are not there she gets really upset. Poor baby! One day...Chris and I could hear her crying as we were coming down the hallway to pick her up...we both took off running...sure enough our girl was upset and as soon as the ladies handed her to me she was fine...sweet honey love just needed her Mommy. :)

- Loves to go riding in her stroller SITTING up looking at the world like a big girl...or go riding in the car...she goes asleep before we get buckled in! LOL...not kidding! :)

- Loves to get tickled by her Daddy...they both giggle so hard...it is the cutest thing to watch

Tinely Kay...

Your Mommy and Daddy love you more than we could ever put into words. We love watching you growing...and learn everyday. You are "growing like a weeds in my yard"...as our Kepi says! :) Love you baby girl...all the timers...and in the town! LOL!

Summer Lovin'...

Summer with my little baby love has started...we are having so much fun going places...seeing friends...relaxing...getting some sun rays (Mommy that is!)...going shopping...going out to eat...watching movies...drinking frozen lemonade...playing in the water at sprinkler parks! Such a fun first summer with my Tinley Kay!!!
