CanNOT imagine!

Bless her heart! Tonight Joannie Rochette skated for an Olympic medal after her mom pasted away from a heart attack on Sunday! My heart hurts for her...I cannot imagine something like that. I am so close to my mama...she is everything to me...I cannot imagine something like this happening. Not having her mom at the most important and exciting night of her life...was so sad. Of course I want the US to win everything...but I really want this sweet girl to get a medal for her mama.

I was in tears as she skated...

Sicky Sick...

Sore throat...headache...ear infection...= PJ's...Idol and Lost...then Bed!

No fun to be sicky sick!

Song Saturday...

Remember how I LOVE music? Well, here is a song that right now I sing so loud when it comes on the radio! I listen to this during the day...and it's so cute...my babies in my classroom are starting to learn the words. So as I am working around the room...I hear a few of them singing as they work too!

Today's song is by:
Meredith Andrews
Can Anyone Hear Me

I'm staring at these empty walls
Wondering if You'll come and visit me again
When will You come?
If there is anything at all
Coming in between our love
Please show me, 'cuz I am barely hanging on

Can anybody hear me?
The silence is deafening
Why do You feel so far away?
When I know You're here with me
But I just need faith to see
Nothing can separate me from Your love

Believing what I can't see
Has never come naturally to me
And I've got questions
But I am certain of a Love
Strong enough to hold me when I'm doubting
You'll never let go of my hand

Chorus

I will trust in You, even in the moments
I can't find you, and I will hold on to
Your promises of love
You've never failed before

I know You can hear me
When the silence is deafening
Even though You see far away
And I know You're here with me
But I just need faith to see
Nothing can separate me from Your love

I love this song! I know I keep saying this over and over again...but in the past few months I have learned SO MUCH! It's just crazy to me of how...the Lord can pick you out of your "normalcy" of a world and show you things. And now I am sitting here looking in, watching and learning from all those things going on and people in it.

Someone once said to me, "Where's your fight, Tiffany?" When I heard this...I thought about this song. Where's my fight?! Really...Can ANYONE hear me! I remember thinking What about me and the things I AM going through?!?!...I am screaming for help and for a fight! I remember feeling like people were so worried about things other than what was going on with me and my heart. I know at some point everyone has felt like that before...I was just talking to Renee Cross (Clay Cross wife; the Christian singer) about this last weekend. When you feel like someone who you thought cared about you just ran over you to get to someone else. And then you moved to the place of a project and not a person. That feeling really is hard to be in.

When I felt that I was being run over by people and asking myself what about me; it really hurt my heart to be there. But now I ask myself...What about me? I think about the prayers I prayed for these people that ran over me...prayed for their life to be changed and somehow if I needed to be used my the Lord then for Him to then use me. And I know with Chris and I...and the ways we have grown...I know some have thought..."I'm so glad I'm not there"...but I know in the same breath they have grown with seeing us go through the things we have. Why do people say or think that by the way..."glad I'm not in their shoes." I know people don't want to go through hard things...but geeezzzz...for me to have a true and deep relationship with the Lord and my husband like I do now...I wouldn't change ANYTHING from these past few months. Whose to say anything was not right and not in God's plan or timing?...No one.

This song was and still is a good song that I love to sing so loud! I sang it a different way a few months ago though...I sang it...screaming for someone to hear me...but now I don't need anyone to hear me. Because I know the things we have gone through are working for the Lord, I'm already hearing stories. And isn't that what I have been praying for...that somehow the Lord will use Chris and I...and our story to help others?!

So this is and has always been my fight...for the Lord...even though sometimes I couldn't see it...or others couldn't...I knew He was there...and could...nope...that He CAN hear me!

Snow Day #2...

Day #2 was so much more fun...Chris and I both got snow days...and didn't have to go to work! 3 day weekend...ROCKED my face off!!! It was SWEET! I woke up to this...We of course took a walk...Little Sister Sas...still wasn't to sure about the snow...But Teague loved it...he was helping Chris make a big snow ball...Callie was cracking me up...with the path that Chris made the snowball...Callie would only walk on the grass part...hilarious...she didn't want to touch the snow...Though she was being such a girl about the snow...she can still take some cute pictures...Mr. Teague is catching on with the picture taking too...so cute!...To end the fun day...Chris and I did snow angels...
So much fun...I loved the snow...for about 30 minutes though...still ready for those opened toe shoes!!!

Snow Day #1...

The first day of snow was so much fun! Usually we get a snow day because here in North Texas we don't get a lot of snow...but on this day I still had to go to work still...so when I got home I was ready to play! And so were the doggies...
Teague loved the snow...

The boys playing in the snow...But sassy Callie Rae...did not like it one bit...!But once she came out we got some fun pictures...The boys playing some more...so much fun...Callie was not liking it...Chris and T-man...Then we decided to go walking... We saw some cute snowmen...Callie and I were getting too cold...so we headed home...

Fun day...

Much needed organizing...

My filing cabinet in my room could no longer fit anymore papers. It was horrible! With all the themes we do in 1st grade...I was running out of space to keep them for next year! I have a team member that is the QUEEN of organizing! She has binders for everything...it is so awesome! So...yep...you guessed it...I copied her!
First I punched holes in all the activities...I cut the file folders in half to use for dividers...And then it was done...all nice and organized...I did a binder for just about every month...
Feels good to be organized...now the trick is to keep it that way!!!

Surprised Sissy...

The other day I had a great surprise at school...my Ryder Man came and brought me some lunch! First off...outside food for lunch is so exciting...and two; lunch with Ryder and Lee makes it that much better! Ryder and I both had our converse shoes on...and since I absolutely LOVE converse, I had to take a picture!
Thanks Lee and Ry for thinking of me...it was a great surprise!

Change your outfit...Change your shoes!

This week I had morning duty...usually I don't mind doing this...because I love getting the students out of their car! But today...it was in 40 degree weather...windy...rain coming in sideways! So I wore 3 different kinds of shoes today...
My original outfit for the day...cute zebra slip on shoes...Changes to this...for outside...cold...wet...windy...outside morning duty...My feet never warmed up to get back in my cute shoes...so I kept these house shoes on all day long...oh well...

I am getting tired of cold and wet weather...Can't wait to wear open toe shoes!!!

Bath Time...

Here's a fun fact about me: I LOVE clean!! I love for my house to be clean...not all the time cleaned with comet, dusting the fans and things...but things at least picked up! I love clean towels when I get out of the shower...I like clean sheets...CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! I really like clean dogs!...
Mr. Teague is not really sure what to do think about baths yet...
He thinks it is play time...Then it's Callie's turn...she is always ready for a bath!...But once she gets cold...she gets ready to get out!...All done...ready to dry...I LOVE CLEAN...especially my clean doggies!
