Just a swingin'...

Tinley is becoming such a big girl...she loves to go walking...but now has a new favorite...the swing!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Of course her big brother as her protector...always right by her side...! Such a good boy Teague-Man!!!!!

Bookworm...

Growing up reading was not my favorite...but now being a teacher and loving now matter how old a kid is they still love sitting around the teacher as she reads. So knowing this about myself when I grew up...I really want Tinely to love it!

On my quest of making sure reading is apart of Tinely's everyday we went to the library!!!! She was hilarious...would just sit and seriously look at the pages...I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully on her way of becoming a bookworm....

Dress Up...

The other day Lee came over...and I was running late...which here lately that is NOT new. So Lee helped me out and got Tinley ready for me. It cracked me upof what she decided to put on her...she said she was loving it...getting to dress a girl she is not used to. Lee has 3 boys!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is what Lee dressed Tinley in for the day...I thought she did pretty good.

River, Ryder, and Ridge all came over and had a big slumber party with Tinley and I. It was hilarious to see Tinley in the floor playing and rough housing with 3 boys! We kept saying Tinley is going to be a tomboy...which I am totally cool with...as long as she has a bow in her hair. LOL!

7 months...

Look who turned 7 months this week!!!!...Such a big girl...!!!

I can't believe it...Tinley Kay is 7 months old. Here are some things that she is doing now:

- She is signing milk...knows the meaning of the sign...it's pretty cool to watch! We are now working on some more signs...

- She is sleeping all naps and all night in her OWN bed!!! YAY!!! It has been consistent and everything...my goal was achieved! :) Which PS...everything took a big change when I realized why she was waking up at night...she would wake up and couldn't find a paci to put herself back to sleep. SO...we bought more...and we seriously have 5 paci's in her bed...NOW she can find one and puts herself back to sleep!

- She loves her new Level 2 foods...mixed veggies and fruit! When she eats she say....Yummmmm....mmmm...has another bite....MMMMM! It's hilarious...so cute!

- Is rolling like crazy to around...I can sit in different areas of the living room...and she will roll to me.

- Is saying Da-Da-Da-Da-Da...I love to see how it lights Chris up every time!

- Loves the water...loves pool water...loves sprinklers...loves it! Such a baby water...

- Is pulling herself up to the crawling position...but pushes herself back. LOL. She gets frustrated when she realizes she is going backwards and not forward...it's pretty funny!

- She loves to sit in her highchair and eat her Mum-Mum's...Lee introduced her to these little snacks...and she LOVES them! We call it surfboards though...if you have ever seen a Mum-Mum...you know why they are surfboards!

- We have started working on a sippy cup. Right now it is just a toy to chew on the handles... :) But I read that the goal is to have your baby drinking out of a cup at the first birthday...interesting.

- Has started to have a temper come out of it's shell...when she is doing something she doesn't want to do...she has this HIGH pitched scream she does in between her little whines! RIGHT NOW...I think it is pretty funny...I know soon...it won't be anymore! :)

Baby girl...Mama loves you to pieces...my cup runth over when I with you. You are such a joy to everyone who is around you. I love you and pray for you everyday! Daddy says...he is so happy you are saying Da-Da...he loves you to the moon...and gets so tickled when he looks at his little twin. :)

Eat Mor Chikin...

The other day we met the beauties Rachel and Allie for Cow Day. It was a lot of fun visiting with the girls...and of course Tinley got a picture with the cow! LOL...! :)

Believe it or not...my girl and all her rolls looks tiny with Mr. Cow....!

Heaven on Earth.

A couple weeks ago we introduced Tinley to the best place on Earth...Camp Deer Run! When I was growing up I went to the best summer camp EVER! Every where I look there...I have a memory...I remember having so much fun there and not wanting the week to end. I am city girl for sure...but here I could be a country girl! I love everything about CDR...from sleeping in NO air conditioner...yes I did that!...to learning about the Lord...and even making my list of husband qualities starting in 1996!!! CRAZY!!! I cannot wait to send Tinley to CDR!

Hopefully the Lord will use this place to change Tinley's relationship with Him like it did mine...She is cracking me up in this picture...The fam...My Dad...Mom...Tinley...Chris...Me...Trey...Kam...Daniel...Scarecrow and Tinley...Chris trying to keep Tinley entertained while camp service was going on. Tinley loves to listen to music...good thing I have CDR songs ALWAYS on in my car...she was so cute...not confirmed but I promise she recognized the songs! :) Love going back to camp...just being there...I feel refreshed and ready for a new year...like back in the old days!

Caught a bubble today...

On days like this...I have to pause...because looking at Tinley makes me in awe of so many things! It's still crazy to think about how she is mine...WOW!

Someone once told me that joy comes in bubbles...catch them...pay attention to them. So I today had to stop and just take in this bubble of joy!

Looking like her Daddy with those drop dead gorgeous blue eyes...All three of my babies...loving the sun rays! My cutie pie...

Big couple of weeks...

These past couple of weeks Tinley has had some big milestones that I have blog about. Again...I am using this blog as my Mommy journal so I can remember all the things that go on in our crazy, busy, hectic life...

Ever since Tinley was about 4 months I started doing sign language with her. I might have been too early...but I thought the earlier the better. Right? That's probably the teacher in me...LOL! Anyway...we sign...Mommy, Daddy, more, milk, paci, and I love You to her. Well...this week Tinley signed MILK!!!!! OMG...I was so excited!! She looked at me like I was crazy...!! I could have cried to see her little fat fingers signing milk...it was such a sweet moment for me! At first I thought she didn't know what it meant...but today I was out to lunch with a friend and Tinley signed it all my herself without seeing the bottle...she kept signing until she started drinking! It was SO.COOL.

Also these past couple weeks my baby girl...started rocking in the crawling position!!! OMG!!! I can't believe it!!! She will roll to me on the floor...which is so sweet...the other night I would go to different places in the living room and she would roll to where ever I was. I love it! Tinley will get in the crawling position...will rock...will try to move one arm and leg together. Once she feels like she is going to lose her balance she goes back to rocking. CRAZY to watch her learn the things...so amazing! My baby girl is going to be crawling soon...can't believe it! Happy Weekend...we have a busy one coming!!!
