ONE...already!

I canNOT believe it is that time already!!!!!! My baby girl Tinley Kay Ann is turning ONE and we are having a party!!!! Geezzzz....this year has FLOWN by!!!! What did Chris and I do with all our time before Tinley??? We thought we were busy and tired then....gracious....that was nothing! Now....I can't imagine life without her. When she is not with us...I feel like I am missing something. She is so much fun...and I am so blessed with this little baby girl!

Elmo's Song...

Moments like this make me stop....take a deep breath and soak in that I love being a Mommy...! Tinley was melting at Walmart...and this is the only thing that would calm her down. We love Elmo!!!

She is such a mess...she gets so happy when Elmo's Song comes on!

I promise it will be stuck in your head just listening to it once.....try hearing it all the way through Walmart....over and over again. LOL!

Icecream of the future...

We let Tinley try some of the ice cream Dippin' Dots...and she LOVED it! I knew she loved vanilla, we get that all the time for lunch dates at Chick-Fil-A...but she loved the strawberry too!

 She wanted more bites...! :)

We got it in...

With the craziness of planning weddings, planning birthday parties, showers here and there, church, family, sickness...just busy life right now...we still got it in. We made a trip to the fair. Chris was so excited about taking Tinley to the fair this year. And of course it was funny to watch her people watch, taste some of the foods, watch Chris walking her through all the cars explaining what kind they were and how much horsepower is in them, the shows, the animals...I don't think we made it out of the parking lot and Tinley was OUT like a light! :)

 This cracks me up...she is such a ham...I was taking this picture and she would not look at me...there were these little kids that were distracting her...the look she is giving them says it all...

 Had to take a quick work call break...of course Tinley can't stand to slow down...we have go...go...go...all the time.

 We saw all kinds of animals...this little calf was SO cute...I could be a cowgirl if they would stay as cute and clean like this one...

Great day at the fair as a family...glad we went once we got there and saw how much Tinley enjoyed it. Another fun day that we made memories with our little love...

Sniff Sniff...

If you know anything about me and my family...you know we LOVE birthdays. We don't just have birthDAYs...we have birthday WEEKS! Well, Tinley turns one on December 20th...sniff...sniff. I can't believe she is already going to be ONE! This is crazy...that I almost have a one year old. Anyway, this week I had her invitations designed, ordered, and printed. They will be in the mail at the end of this week...which this is real impressive that I have done them ON TIME! YAY! I took some pictures of her for the invitation...and thought she looks so cute I wanted to share them.

Quack Quack

For Tinley's first Halloween...we decided to have her be a duck! Chris was surprised I didn't want her to be something PINK...but I thought this duck was cute to put on her. We had so much fun this past week with Halloween.

Our duck sitting with her matching one tooth pumpkin! I had to put one of her bows on the top...if not...she looked SO MUCH like Chris and his baby pictures. Had to make sure everyone knew she was a girl duck. LOL....

 Her handsome Daddy was so happy at the Fall Festival, she did not want to be held. She wanted to walk around like a big girl. She was doing so good with holding on to just one hand...

 Yep...we even walked up to houses to get candy...

 All the cousins were there too...River, Ryder, Ridge...and the only girl....Tin Tin. The boys call her Tin Tin. :)

Such a fun night with the babies first Halloween...until next year...

Ouch!

According to our Dr. George...Tinley's doctor...she is trying to teeth about 5 to 7 teeth right now...ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!! So we are back to being up every night at 4am!!!! One night last week...she was up at 3am...screaming...we tried everything...medicine...teething rings...wash cloths...Oral Gel...rocking...EVERYTHING. But nothing worked...

Finally...about 5:30...here she was...sound asleep!

Don't ask about where her PJ's are...it was one of those nights...believe me...LOL!

 But it was too late for Chris and I to go back to sleep...it was time to get up for us.

We were running on 'E' that day...another day for no make that's for sure! 

Save the Ta-Ta's!!!

Another new tradition that I have started with Tinley is going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Run/Walk. I have always wanted to do this...since my grandmother, Kepi...had breast cancer, but never have. Tinley and I went and had such a great time! We will for sure be going back next year...with a group of more girls! :)

 There were tons of people there...can you imagine the money that was raised...it was awesome!

 Tinley started to melt towards the end...so it was time to go...

Pumpkin Patch...

Since Tinley is now here...I am ALL about coming up with our own family traditions. Some of them we already do as a family with our other two "kids"...Callie and Teague...but we have made some new ones too. One new tradition we now have is go find a pumpkin in a pumpkin patch. The first pumpkin patch trip did not go as I had planned....

At first we were okay...no smiles though...had to let Mommy and Daddy know we were not in a good mood about doing this...LOL...

  And then when we put Tinley in or around some hay...she had a FIT!...

 The teacher in me started to come out...we have a major sensory issue with HAY!!!.... :)

 But of course the Mommy makes everything better...

Such a fun day as a family at our first pumplin patch experience!
